Ulster-Scots

One of our aims in West Tyrone Voice is to promote the Ulster-Scots language and its attendant culture.  We have sought to do this so far by including in some of our newsletters portions of text in the Ulster-Scots language, and have had entertainment at our Annual Barbecue from pipers and pipe bands.

In the aftermath of the Belfast Agreement, the Ulster-Scots Agency was set up.  We have had some small funding from them in the past.
